National Heat Treat Opens New Facility
National Heat Treat (NHT) recently celebrated the official opening of a
key facility in Houston, Texas. The event showcased NHT’s
state-of-the-art, 50,000-square-foot, thermal-processing plant and
infrastructure, which includes one of the largest commercial vacuum
furnaces in the southwest U.S. The new Houston facility also houses the
highest-operating-temperature commercial open-fire furnace in Texas.
July 2013 – the second phase of expansion – will bring the largest
commercial batch furnace in Texas. The next two phases will be completed
over the next 12 months and involve additional investments in
technology and equipment. NHT is a privately held firm that provides
proprietary heat-treat and testing services for a variety of metals and
applications.
