According to the final result of anti-dumping (AD) duty administrative review, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) determined that South Korea’s producers/exporters of hot-rolled steel flat products sold their products into the US market at prices lower than normal value during the period of review from October 1, 2019 to September 30, 2020.
The weighted-average dumping margin for Hyundai Steel was set at 3.62%, that for POSCO was at 1.57%, and a margin of 2.95% was assigned to seven other companies, including Dongkuk Industries, Dongkuk Steel Mill, KG Dongbu Steel, Marubeni-Itochu Steel Korea, Snp, Soon Hong Trading, and Sungjin.
These final AD duties are applicable from March 7, 2022.
