According to the final determination made by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), the stoppage of the existing anti-dumping (AD) duties on welded large diameter line pipes from China and Japan and the countervailing duties (CVD) on same products from China would likely lead to the continuation or resumption of dumping and subsidization.
The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) will make the final determination by August 3, deciding whether to maintain the orders for another five years or stop the duty imposition.
