Toyota may further cut its auto-output in Mar due to global microchip shortage

According to the announcement from Toyota Motor Corporation, one of the leading automakers in the world, it would suspend its two Japanese factories’ production in March due to the global microchip shortage.

Market predicted Toyota to produce 950,000 units of automobiles in March, lower than the original goal by 100,000 units.

In fact, this is not the first time Toyota to cut its output, and some of the market participants believed that the microchip shortage situation might hard to be solved before 2023.
