Pakistan's National Tariff Commission has imposed definitive anti-dumping (AD) duties on cold-rolled flat-rolled products originating in the EU, South Korea, Vietnam, and Taiwan. The AD duty rate for the EU, South Korea, Vietnam, and Taiwan was set at 6.5%, 13.24%, 17.25%, and 6.18%, respectively. This measure will valid for five years from August 23, 2021.
The products involved are flat-rolled products of iron or non-alloy steel, cold-rolled (cold-reduced), not clad, plated or coated, of prime and secondary quality, of a thickness in a range from 0.15mm to 3 mm and a width up to 1,250mm, excluding cold-rolled steel coils and sheets used in automotive skins, stainless steel, and special steel grades. The subject goods are under HS codes 72091510, 72091590, 72091610, 72091690, 72091710, 72091790, 72091810, 72091891, 72091899, 72092510, 72092590, 72092610, 72092690, 72092710, 72092790, 72092810, and 72092890.
This AD investigation was initiated last February, based on the application filed by local cold-rolled steel coils/sheets producers International Steels Limited and Aisha Steel Mills Limited (ASML).
