According to the final results of the anti-dumping (AD) duty administrative review, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) determined that Canada’s producers or exporters of large diameter welded pipes sold their products in the US market at prices lower than normal value during the period of review from August 27, 2018 to April 30, 2020.
The weighted-average dumping margin for Evraz Inc. NA and 38 other non-examined companies was set at 15.29%.
In the preliminary results, the USDOC determined that Canam had no shipments during the period of review.
Separately, according to the final results of countervailing duty (CVD) administrative review, the USDOC determined that South Korea’s producers or exporters of large diameter welded pipes received countervailable subsidies during the period of review from June 29, 2018 to December 31, 2019. A subsidy rate of 0.24% de minimis was set for SeAH Steel, and 0.51% was assigned to Hyundai RB and 19 other non-examined companies under review.
