According to the preliminary results of anti-dumping (AD) duty administrative review, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) preliminarily determined that prestressed concrete steel wire strand (PC strand) was being sold in the US market by Thailand at prices lower than the fair value during the period of review from January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020.
The weighted-average dumping margin for The Siam Industrial Wire Company Limited (SIW), the sole mandatory respondent for the review, was set at 0.98%.
Thai Wire Products Public Company Limited timely withdrew its request for review with respect to itself on May 25, 2021, so the USDOC rescinded the review on this company.
The USDOC intended to issue the final results of this review no later than 120 days after February 4, 2022, unless this deadline is extended.
