The US Department of Commerce (USDOC) announced on December 1, 2021 to initiate the fifth anti-dumping (AD) sunset review investigation on heavy iron construction castings imported from Brazil, Canada, and China, as well as the fifth sunset review of countervailing duty (CVD) on the same products from Brazil.
Meanwhile, the US International Trade Commission (USITC) launched the fifth AD and CVD five-year reviews on these products to determine whether revoking the existing AD and CVD duty orders on subject products from the above-mentioned countries would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury.
The deadline for interested parties’ responses is January 3, 2022. Comments on the adequacy of responses should be filed to the USITC by February 8, 2022.
