Thailand’s Committee on Dumping and Subsidy announced its final ruling of anti-dumping (AD) orders on hot-rolled steel coil and hot-rolled steel plate originating in Vietnam and Egypt, deciding to impose a five-year AD duty.
According to the ruling, the AD duty rate for Vietnam’s Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Corporation was set at 24.38%, and that for other Vietnam’s companies was at 42.34%.
Egypt’s Ezz Steel will be subject to a duty rate of 4.74%, and other Egypt’s companies were assigned 6.20%.
The products involved are hot-rolled steel coil and hot-rolled steel plate with a thickness of 0.9-100mm, a width of 100-3,200 mm, classified under 135 HS codes with tariffs headings 7208, 7211, 7225, and 7226.
