On September 22, 2021, the Ministry of Productive Development of Argentina announced its final ruling of the second anti-dumping (AD) sunset review on China’s carbon steel pipe fittings, deciding to maintain the existing AD duty rate of a minimum value on FOB of US$4.67/kg, determined in 2015.
The products involved are carbon steel pipe fittings for butt welding, according to ASME B16.9 and ASTM A234 or equivalent standards (IRAM 2607, etc.), with external diameters equal to or greater than 60.3 mm and less than or equal to 323.8 mm in standard and extra heavy thicknesses, classified under MERCOSUR Common Nomenclature (NCM) 7307.19.20 and 7307.93.00.
The announcement was effective from the date of the publication, valid for five years.
