On September 10, 2021, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India announced that it has initiated an anti-dumping (AD) investigation on stainless steel seamless tubes and pipes with a diameter up to or equal to 6 inches originating in or imported from China, based on the application submitted by Indian companies Chandan Steel Limited, Tubacex Prakash India Private Limited, and Welspun Specialty Solutions Limited.
The products involved are under Indian tariffs code 7304.
The period of investigation was from April 1, 2020 to March 31, 2021 (12 months), and the injury investigation period was from 2017 to 2018, 2018 to 2019, 2019 to 2020, and the period of investigation.
