According to a notice issued by the US International Trade Administration (ITA) on September 7, 2021, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) preliminarily determined that India’s carbon steel flanges were being sold by India’s producers or exporters at prices lower than normal value during the period of review from August 1, 2019 to July 31, 2020, as well as found that they received countervailable subsidies during the period of review from January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2019.
As a result, the weighted-average dumping margin for R.N. Gupta & Co., Ltd. was set at 0.77%, and that for Norma Group was at 4.38%. Companies of non-selected for individual review will be subject to a rate of 2.25%.
In terms of countervailing duties, Norma Group was assigned a subsidy rate of 5.25%, and R.N. Gupta & Co., Ltd. received 5.51%. The rate for non-selected companies was set at 2.25%.
