According to the preliminary ruling made by the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), Taiwan’s forged steel fittings were being sold at prices less than normal value during the period of review from September 1, 2019 to August 31, 2020.
As a result of this review, the weighted-average dumping margin for Taiwan’s steel fittings producer Both-Well Steel Fittings Co., Ltd. was set at 5.57%.
The products involved are carbon and alloy forged steel fittings, whether unfinished or finished, in a variety of shapes including elbows, tees, crosses, laterals, couplings, reducers, caps, plugs, bushings, unions, and outlets, classified HS codes 7307.99.1000, 7307.99.3000, 7307.99.5045, and 7307.99.5060.
