According to the notices from Taiwan’s Ministry of Finance on August 20, the sunset review investigations of anti-dumping (AD) measures on the imports of certain flat-rolled steel products, plated or coated with zinc or zinc-alloys (galvanized steel products) from China and South Korea and that on the imports of carbon steel plate from Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, South Korea, and Ukraine were launched, to determine whether to continue these impositions of AD duties or not.
The initial AD duties on the two cases started to be imposed on August 22, 2016, valid for five years, and they expired on August 21 this year. The applicants for the two cases applied to continue the imposition this February 19.
The Customs Administration has started the sunset review investigations, and the ruling was expected to be made within 6 months.
