The UK Trade Remedies Authority (TRA) has completed a transition review of the anti-dumping duty on corrosion-resistant steel originating from China, maintaining the measure and keeping duties unchanged until 9 February 2028, Kallanish notes.
The anti-dumping duty applies to certain flat-rolled iron and steel products plated or coated by hot-dip galvanization with zinc, aluminium, or magnesium, chemically passivated, and presented in coils, cut-to-length sheets, and narrow strips.
Excluded from the measure are stainless steel, silicon-electrical steel, high-speed steel, and products that have not been further worked beyond hot or cold-rolling.
The commodity codes subject to anti-dumping duty include 7210410030, 7210490030, 7210610030, 7210690030, 7210908092, 7212300030, 7212506130, 7212506930, 7212509014, 7212509092, 7225920030, 7225990022, 7225990023, 7225990041, 7225990093, 7226993030, 7226997013 and 7226997093.
