According to Vietnam’s Trade Remedies Authority, under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, it got the information that Thailand’s Department of Foreign Trade had received a request to launch an anti-dumping (AD) investigation on cold-rolled stainless steel products originating in Vietnam from the plaintiff Posco-Thainox Public Company Limited.
Therefore, the Trade Remedies Authority recommended that the Vietnam Steel Association (VSA) and related companies review the export situation to Thailand from 2020 to the present. Besides, the steel industry also needed to keep monitoring relevant information and discuss response plans at the same time, actively keeping in touch with the Trade Remedies Authority to obtain immediate assistance.
The products involved are under HS codes 7219 and 7220.
