The Pandemic’s Impact on SEAISI
2020 was a year of disruption, an unexpected disruption that saw the postponement of the 2020 SEAISI Conference & Exhibition, which was to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia as well as the
2020 SEAISI Sustainable Construction Forum, which was to be held in Yangon, Myanmar. To bring market trends and technological developments to our members and delegates, SEAISI shifted the all the 2020 events online.
2021 SEAISI 50th Anniversary e-Conference & Exhibition
All these times, SEAISI was hoping to bring back the physical 2021 SEAISI Conference & Exhibition event in 2021. Unfortunately, it is not to be, given the worsening global situation in relation to COVID19. In the place of the physical events, SEAISI once again has to shift the events online.
Feedback from many delegates and others was that people miss the informal touch a physical event brings. People miss having drinks and chats with each other. People miss catching up with our exhibitors, to learn about new technologies. And our previous Zoom events in 2020 were not able to make up for the informal touch and opportunities that our delegates wanted.
But this time, things will be different. It will be better than what we have had before. So, what’s Special About the 2021 SEAISI 50th Anniversary e-Conference & Exhibition?
1. The SEAISI Virtual Platform (SEAISI ViP)
For this special event, SEAISI will introduce the SEAISI Virtual Platform (SEAISI ViP) which will have the following features:

The platform mimics the features of a physical event to include a conference in a virtual hall, a virtual exhibition, meeting rooms and other networking functions!
