Installed at Izmit plant in Turkey the new spooler line of Diler Demir Çelik is producing achieving top performances in and breaking speed records (40 m/sec) for diameters D8 and D10.
Equipped with new spooler machines specifically designed to maximize the productivity of small sizes diameters, the new spooler line will give Diler Demir Çelik the capability to produce 500,000 tpy of twist-free spooled bars in coils, ranging from to 8 to 25 mm dia.
The scope of supply includes a six-pass fast-finishing block, a water-cooling line to grant final mechanical properties according to international standard, and Sund Birsta strapping machines. The whole process is controlled by a Danieli Automation system.
Spooled bars do not require coil unwind and rewind before use in downstream lines. Danieli spooler technology ensures the best metallurgical uniformity through the whole coil.
