The US Department of Commerce (USDOC) announced the preliminary results of the administrative review of the anti-dumping (AD) orders on steel concrete reinforcing bars (rebar) from Turkey.
The review period covers July 1, 2022, to June 30, 2023. It found some Turkish rebar makers made sales of the subject products at less than normal value.
The USDOC has assigned a weighted-average dumping margin of 1.05% for Colakoglu Metalurji A.S./ Colakoglu Dis Ticaret A.S and Endustrisi Ve Ticaret A.S./ Kaptan Metal Dis Ticaret Ve Nakliyat A.S, and zero percent for Icdas Celik Enerju Tersane ve Ulasim Sanayi A.S.
Besides, the USDOC has revoked the review on the imports of the subject products for Turkish producers Diler Dis Ticaret A.S. (Diler), Ekinciler Demir ve Celik Sanayi A.S. (Ekinciler), and Habas Sinai ve Tibbi Gazlar Istihsal Endustrisi A.S. (Habas), as those did not ship rebars into the US during the review period.
The final result of the review will be announced no later than 120 days after the announcement of the preliminary results.
