According to the report, the Canada Border Service Agency (CBSA) announced that it would extend the preliminary period of the anti-dumping investigation on certain concrete reinforcing bar imports from Bulgaria, Thailand, and the United Arab Emirates.
The preliminary decision normally should be completed within 90 days of the date of initiation. However, this time the investigation period has been extended to 135 days because of the difficulties in getting satisfactory evidence, so as the complexity of issues from the investigation. Therefore, the final decision to announce the preliminary determination or terminate the investigation will be reached on or before the September 13, 2024.
