Eco Friendly Habits Everyone Should Adopt

Global emissions will rise because of air pollution. Chemical and biological agents that alter the atmospheric concentration are the source of air pollution. Increase in business activities, food manufacturing and energy consumption will contribute to global emissions.1

Global weather patterns and temperatures are changing due to climate change. The temperature of the planet is caused by human activities. However, there are ways to reduce the effect of climate change by practicing several eco-friendly habits.

1. Reduce Food Wastage

Food wastage can be reduced by proper management of the food by not buying more than is required and not wasting the food. 2

2. Say No to Plastic Bags

Plastic bags are commonly used in daily activities. It takes millions of years to diminish a single plastic. Use an ecofriendly or reusable bag instead. 3

3. Reduce your Vehicle Usage

Vehicles with engines release pollution which is harmful to our health. Usage of energy-efficient vehicles will help to reduce harmful chemicals in the atmosphere. 4

4. Compost Pit

Compost can be created from biodegradable trash. This will maximize its potential as a fertilizer. This will also contribute to sustainability which help the environment. 5

5. Reduce Water Consumption

Water consumption should be used sparingly and avoid wasting water unnecessarily. This will also ensure we have enough in drought times. 6

6.Rechargeable batteries-single use batteries

Batteries that are thrown in dustbins will release toxic substances that can leak into land. Usage of rechargeable batteries can include longer service and reduce new battery purchase. 7

Everyday, easy-to-implement eco-friendly practices can improve the health of the biosphere's creatures, land, water, and air! This would therefore have a significant impact on our lifestyle and general health as a society.
