On June 7, the European Commission announced the final result of the anti-dumping duty (AD) review on steel ropes and cables originating in China. The Commission decided to maintain the anti-dumping measures. The current AD for China was 60.4 %. Besides, the definitive anti-dumping duty is also extended to Morocco and South Korea, whether declared as originating in these two countries or not.
However, the following companies were excepted by the measure, including South Korea’s Bosung Wire Rope Co., Ltd., Chung Woo RopeCo., Ltd., CS Co., Ltd., Cosmo Wire Ltd., Dae Heung Industrial Co., Ltd., Daechang Steel Co., Ltd., DSR Wire Corp., Goodwire MFG. Co. Ltd., KiswireLtd Ltd, Manho Rope & Wire Ltd., Line MetalCo., Ltd., Seil Wire and Cable, Shin Han Rope Co., Ltd., Ssang YongCable Mfg. Co., Ltd., YOUNGWIRE, and Morocco’s Remer Maroc SARL.
The HS code for products involved are 7312 10 81 12, 7312 10 81 13, 7312 10 81 19, 7312 10 83 12, 7312 10 83 13, 7312 10 83 19, 7312 10 85 12, 7312 10 85 13, 7312 10 85 19, 7312 10 89 12, 7312 10 89 13, 7312 10 89 19, 7312 10 98 12, 7312 10 98 13 and 7312 10 98 19.
