Australia's Anti-Dumping Commission started a review of anti-dumping (AD) measures on deep drawn stainless-steel sinks from China on 6 May in response to an application from Oliveri Solutions Pty Ltd.
The related products are under HS code 7324.10.00.52. Current AD and countervailing duty rates are between 0% and 60.2%, which were initially imposed in March 2015 and were continued for a further five years in March 2020. These measures are due to expire on 26 March 2025.
The commission will examine the period from 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024, and the submissions from interested parties are due 12 June 2024, Kallanish notes.
The statements of facts and final recommendation are due 26 August and 8 October 2024 respectively.
Australia imported 202,105 units of stainless steel sinks this Q1, up 62.4% on-year.
