Some countries launch AD investigations to resist Chinese steel exports

According to the report, the World Steel Association (worldsteel) predicted that China's demand growth would remain stagnant this year and cause oversupply, leading to a large amount of exports, which impacted the global market seriously. The export volume of Chinese steel products is likely to reach 100 million tons this year, an increase of nearly 10 million tons compared to last year. The global countries planned to resist China's steel exports.

Taiwanese China Steel Corporation (CSC) has currently collected information on the sales behavior of imported steel products from China, and they will propose trade remedies or anti-dumping investigations if necessary.

The Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) is also considering imposing higher tariffs on Chinese steel imports. In addition, some countries have recently conducted anti-dumping investigations on Chinese steel products, including Brazil, Vietnam, India, the United Kingdom, the Philippines, Turkey, and Mexico.
