The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) announced that it has started an expiry review of anti-dumping (AD) and countervailing duties (CVD) on carbon steel welded pipes from China as the existing duties will expire on March 27, 2024.
The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) will decide before July 18, 2024, while the CITT will need to make a determination no later than December 24, 2024 to see if the expiry of the AD and CVD order is likely to lead to continued or resumed dumping or subsidizing and bring injury to the domestic industry.
The HS tariff codes for involved products are 7306.30.00.10, 7306.30.00.20, and 7306.30.00.30.
