On February 9, 2024, the Australian Anti-Dumping Commission announced the launch of an exemption inquiry of anti-dumping (AD) measures on hollow structural sections from China, South Korea, Malaysia, and Taiwan, as well as an exemption inquiry of the countervailing duty (CVD) on the same products from China, based on the application filed by MGN CIVIL Pty Ltd.
The products involved in this exemption inquiry are steel bars of 350 grade in a dimension of 60 mm x 120 mm x 10 mm thick with a length of 11.9 meters, classified under tariff subheadings 7306.61.00.22 and 7306.61.00.25.
