All interested parties should submit applications to the ministry by 19 February this year.

In 2019, Taiwan imposed the AD duties on these products from China and South Korea, with rates of 38.11% and 37.65% respectively. The measures are due to expire after 28 August 2024.
After the imposition of the duties, Taiwan’s total imports of these products experienced a V shape of 37,334t in 2019 to 37,230t in 2022, with a low of 18,423t in 2021. The combined ratio of Chinese and South Korean supplies however kept rising to 61% in 2022, compared with less than 17% in 2019.
However, total imports over January-November last year fell to just 13,660t, and the intake of goods from China and South Korea was only 17%.
