According to the final determinations of anti-dumping (AD) duties made by the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), imports of tin mill products from Canada, China, Germany, and South Korea were found to be sold in the US market at unfair prices, and imports of these subject goods from China were also being subsidized.
However, the USDOC made negative final determinations regarding imports of tin mill products from the Netherlands, Taiwan, Turkey, and the UK as imports from the four countries were not being dumped in the US.
The dumping rate assigned to Canada, China, Germany, and South Korea is 5.27%, 122.52%, 6.88%, and 0% (KG Dongbu Steel)- 2.69%, respectively. The subsidy rate was set at 649.98% for China’s Baoshan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. and 331.88% for other Chinese producers/exporters.
