According to the Japan Iron and Steel Federation (JISF), Japan's iron and steel product exports totaled 2.6 million tons in November, decreasing by 4% compared to the previous month and by 7% from the same month a year ago.
In the first 11 months of this year, Japan's iron and steel product exports amounted to roughly 30 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 1.7%.
Among them, the exports to South Korea accounted for the biggest share with around 5.2 million tons, and Thailand, China, and Taiwan followed with the amount of 4.3 million, 2.6 million tons, and 1.5 million tons, respectively.
