Mexico initiated an administrative procedure to examine the validity and ex officio review of the commitments assumed by South Korea’s Posco and Hyundai Hysco Co., Ltd. on imports of cold-rolled sheets originating in South Korea, regardless of the country of origin.
For the suspension of the anti-dumping (AD)duties imposition, both companies made commitments not to export their cold-rolled sheets at a price harmful to the Mexican market and not to exceed the limits of annual exports.
The products involved are cold-rolled steel sheets, both alloyed and unalloyed, with a boron content equal to or greater than 0.0008%, unplated or coated, with a width of equal or greater than 600 mm and a thickness of less than 3 mm, under tariff codes 7209.16.01, 7209.17.01, 7209.18.01, and 7225.50.91 of the TIGIE.
