According to the final result of the anti-dumping (AD) duty administrative review, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) found that certain Turkish producers/exporters of rebar sold the subject goods at prices lower than fair value during the period of review from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022.
As a result, the USDOC assigned the weighted average dumping margin of 25.86% for Kaptan Demir Celik Endustrisi Ve Ticaret A.S., Kaptan Metal Dis Ticaret Ve Nakliyat A.S., and other companies not selected for individual review, and Colakoglu Metalurji A.S. and Colakoglu Dis Ticaret A.S. received a dumping margin of zero.
The products involved are steel concrete reinforcing bars imported in straight lengths or coils (rebar), regardless of metallurgy, length, diameter, or grade or lack thereof.
This announcement took effect on December 28, 2023.
