According to the final results of the anti-dumping (AD) duty administrative review, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) determined that certain Canadian producers/exporters of large-diameter welded pipes sold their products at prices lower than the fair value during the period of review from May 1, 2021 to April 30, 2022.
As a result, Evraz Inc. NA, Evraz Inc. NA Canada, Canadian National Steel Corporation, and other 36 non-examined companies received a weighted average dumping margin of 9.17%.
Besides, the USDOC also determined that Forterra Pipe & Precast, Ltd. (Forterra), Hyprescon Inc. (Hyprescon), and Canam Group Inc. (Canam) didn’t make shipments of subject goods during the period of review.
The products involved are under the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS) subheadings 7305.11.1030, 7305.11.1060, 7305.11.5000, 7305.12.1030, 7305.12.1060, 7305.12.5000, 7305.19.1030, 7305.19.1060, 7305.19.5000, 7305.31.4000, 7305.31.6090, 7305.39.1000, and 7305.39.5000.
This final determination was applicable from December 13, 2023.
