According to the final results of the anti-dumping (AD) duty administrative review, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) determined that POSCO, a South Korean producer and exporter of carbon and alloy steel wire rod (wire rod), didn’t sell the subject products in the US at prices lower than the fair value during the period of review from May 1, 2021 to April 30, 2022.
As a result, the weighted average dumping margin for POSCO was set at zero, in line with the preliminary results, announced on June 2, 2023.
POSCO is the sole producer and exporter of wire rods subject to this administrative review.
The final determination was applicable on November 28, 2023.
