According to the final judgment from the US Court of International Trade (CIT), the CIT decided to sustain the US Department of Commerce (USDOC)'s remand results pertaining to the administrative review of the countervailing duty (CVD) order on certain hot-rolled steel flat products from South Korea covering the period January 1, 2018, through December 31, 2018.
The USDOC indicated that CIT's final judgment is not consistent with its final results of the administrative review. As a result, the USDOC decided to amend the countervailable subsidy rate of Hyundai Steel to 0.5%.
The measure was effective from August 31, 2023.
