According to the report, the Balakovo Metallurgical Plant is a prominent producer of long steel products in Russia, which has mastered the production technology of new angle steel. This angle steel is produced according to the bridge engineering standard GOST 6713-2021, with dimensions of 90x90x7mm, its strength grade is C345, and its steel grade is 14KhGNDts.
The new angle steel will be used in the construction of railways and highways. Its unique weather resistance and strength make it suitable for the extreme climate in northern Russia and can withstand the hazards of a magnitude 9 earthquake.
MZ Balakovo will present the product during the 29th international industrial exhibition "Metal-Expo'2023" in Moscow from November 7 to 10.
