The UK’s Trade Remedies Authority (TRA) made the final determination of the transition review regarding the anti-dumping (AD) and countervailing duties (CVD) measures on certain hot-rolled flat and coil products originating in China.
China’s exporters/producers will continue to be subject to an AD duty rate ranging from 0% to 31.3%, and the CVD rate is 4.6% to 35.9%.
The products involved are hot-rolled flat-rolled products of iron, non-alloy steel, or other alloy steel whether or not in coils, not clad, plated, or coated, excluding products of stainless steel, grain-oriented silicon electrical steel, tool steel, and high-speed steel, products not in coils without patterns in relief, of a thickness of more than 10mm and of a width of 600mm or more, and products not in coils without patterns in relief, of a thickness of 4.75mm or more but not exceeding 10mm and of a width of 2.05m or more.
The period of investigation for the review was from April 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022, and the period for the injury assessment was from April 1, 2018 to March 31, 2022.
