Toyota Australia and BHP signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to strengthen safety and decarbonization measures. The primary goal of the cooperation focused on safety in light vehicle design and future state technologies and challenges.
Besides, the collaboration will combine Toyota's and BHP's expertise to aim BHP's target to reduce carbon emissions by 30% by 2030.
In addition, the two companies also jointly organized a decarbonization journey map to develop a range of options and alternative technologies.
