In April 2023, Primetals Technologies successfully secured an order from Liberty Galati for the installation of an advanced Multi-Purpose Interrupted Cooling (MULPIC) system and a water treatment facility. This remarkable project will be implemented at Liberty Galati's heavy plate mill line, located in Romania.
The upgrade will not only enable the expansion of the product range but also improve product quality. As a result, the quality of the final products used in offshore, shipbuilding, construction, and pressure vessel markets will significantly improve. The implementation of this system is planned for completion by the end of 2024.
