Brazil’s Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (MDIC) decided to extend the anti-dumping (AD) measure on carbon steel seamless line pipes from China and Romania by another five years in order to protect the Brazilian industry from being affected by unfair competition.
The duty rate for China is US$743/ton, and that for Romania is US$75.11/ton.
The products involved are carbon steel seamless line pipes, with diameters of up to 5 inches (141.3 mm), classified under HS codes 7304.19.00, 7304.31.90, 7304.39.10, and 7304.39.90.
