Japan and Saudi Arabia have joined forces to develop technologies and resources in the field of decarbonization.
During Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida's recent visit to Jeddah, Arabia, the leaders of the two countries signed 26 memorandums of cooperation in the energy field. Japan provides Saudi Arabia with the technology to expand solar power and improve its hydrogen and ammonia as clean energy. In addition, Japan will help accelerate the development of mined copper, iron, and zinc resources in Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia also maintains steady crude support for Japan.
