The European Commission has announced the imposition of provisional anti-dumping duties on the import of steel bulb flat bars from China and Turkey.
This follows an investigation that was opened at the end of last year, following a complaint lodged by Spain’s Laminados Losal.
Chinese-origin imports will be subject to an anti-dumping duty of 14.7%, while Turkish imports are levied with 13.6%. The investigation is set to determine a definitive duty by the beginning of 2024, Kallanish notes.
