SEAISI Events
SEAISI organises 2 major events a year, namely the SEAISI Conference and Exhibition (May/June) and the SEAISI Forums (November). A key part of the event is the Keynote Sessions or Opening Session and the CEO Panel Discussion, which features the leading Global and Regional Leaders as well as subject matter Experts.
During these sessions, Senior Management of Steel Producers, leading Institutions and Subject Matter Experts present their views on global and regional trends and their relevance to the ASEAN Steel Industry. Together with ASEAN CEO’s they debate about these trends and offer insights into the minds of the CEOs on how to move forward in ASEAN.
This article looks at these Featured Speakers at SEAISI events and we will introduce the Featured Speakers at the upcoming 2023 SEAISI Conference & Exhibition, in Manila, Philippines.
2022 Back to In Person Event
This is SEAISI’s first in-person event post COVID19 lockdowns. The event combines the typical SEAISI Conference & Exhibition, the ASEAN Sustainability Forum and the SEAISI Construction Forum.

2021 Online Event & Exhibition
2021 was the year that SEAISI introduced the first online conference and exhibition.
This was the year that SEAISI brought back the ASEAN Sustainability Forum, as climate change issues and plans gain momentum worldwide.
2020 SEAISI e-Events (COVID period)
In 2020, as COVID hit the ASEAN countries, SEAISI shifted its events online. While there were no keynote sessions, the events were attended by many expert speakers and delegates.

Mr. Dilip Oommen is the Chief Executive Officer and a member of the board of ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India). He is also an Executive Vice President of ArcelorMittal and a board member of the ArcelorMittal Group Management Committee.
