The European Commission has extended the validity of anti-dumping duties on hot rolled coil from China for a further five years, concluding the expiry review initiated in 2022, Kallanish notes.
The anti-dumping duties of as much as 31.3% will therefore remain in place, as well as the anti-subsidy duties of as much as 35.9%.
“On the basis of the conclusions reached by the Commission on recurrence of dumping, recurrence of injury and Union interest, the anti-dumping measures on imports of certain hot-rolled flat products of iron, non-alloy or other alloy steel originating in the PRC should be maintained,” the Commission note explains.
