According to the final results of the expedited fifth sunset reviews of the anti-dumping (AD) duty orders, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) ruled that canceling the existing AD orders on certain circular welded non-alloy steel pipes from Brazil, Mexico, South Korea, and Taiwan, and certain circular welded carbon steel pipes and tubes from Taiwan would be likely to lead to the continuation or recurrence of dumping.
If the AD order is revoked, the dumping margins likely to prevail would be up to 103.38% for Brazil, 7.32% for Mexico, 1.20% for South Korea, and 27.65% for Taiwan regarding circular welded non-alloy steel pipes. For Taiwan’s circular welded carbon steel pipes and tubes, the dumping margin was set at 8.91%.
