Thailand’s Ministry of Commerce has approved a determination to revoke the anti-dumping (AD) duty order on hot-rolled steel products from China and Malaysia, which are subject to a duty rate of 30.91% and 23.57%-42.51% of CIF price, respectively.
These duties were first imposed on August 2011, valid for five years, and were extended by another five years in June 2017 as a result of an expiry review.
The products involved are hot-rolled flat steel in coils and not in coils, classified under HS codes 7208.10, 7208.25, 7208.26, 7208.27, 7208.36, 7208.37, 7208.38, 7208.39, 7208.40, 7208.51, 7208.52, 7208.53, 7208.54, 7208.90, 7211.13, 7211.14, and 7211.19.
