The US International Trade Commission (USITC) gave a notice of the scheduling of expedited five-year reviews to determine whether the cancelation of the existing countervailing duty (CVD) order on steel concrete reinforcing bar (rebar) from Turkey and the anti-dumping (AD) duty orders on the same products from Japan, Taiwan, and Turkey would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time.
The USITC didn’t find any other circumstances requiring full reviews as the response from the respondent interested party group regarding the five-year reviews was inadequate. Therefore, the USITC decided to conduct expedited reviews.
