On December 19, 2022, the Indonesian Anti-Dumping Committee (KADI) announced the second launch of the anti-dumping (AD) sunset review investigation on imports of tinplate coil/sheet from China, Taiwan, and South Korea, based on the application filed by the domestic company PT Pelat Timah Nusantara Tbk.
The products involved are flat-rolled products of iron or non alloy steel, of a width of 600 mm or more and a thickness of less than 0.5 mm, plated or coated with tin, classified under HS codes 7210.12.10 and 7210.12.90.
The period of investigation was from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022, and the injury investigation period was from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020 (the first stage), from July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021 (the second phase), and from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022 (the third phase).
The existing AD measure remains in place during the investigation period.
