The Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) of India has recommended a five-year anti-dumping (AD) duty on imports of stainless steel seamless pipes from China, based on the result of its investigation, launched following a complaint submitted by Chandan Steel Limited, Tubacex Prakash India Private Limited, and Welspun Specialty Solutions Limited.
The recommended AD duty rate was in a range from US$114/ton to US$3,801/ton. The Ministry of Finance made its final decision to impose these duties.
The products involved are classified under HS code heading 7304.
