According to a determination for a sunset review made by the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) and the US International Trade Commission (USITC), the revocation of the countervailing duty (CVD) orders on certain cold-rolled steel flat products from China and South Korea would likely lead to continuation or recurrence of net countervailable subsidies and material injury to the US industry. Therefore, the CVD orders will be maintained.
The final subsidy rate for China was set at 256.44%, and that for South Korea was at 4.04% to 51.80%.
This announcement is applicable from August 19, 2022.
