On August 22, 2022, the Australian Anti-Dumping Commission initiated the second sunset review investigation of anti-dumping (AD) measures on zinc coated (galvanized) steel from China, Taiwan, and South Korea, as well as the second review investigation of countervailing duty (CVD) measures on the same product from China, following an application submitted by Australian company BlueScope Steel Limited on July 29, 2022.
The period of review was from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022. The products involved are under HS codes 7210.49.00.55, 7210.49.00.56, 7210.49.00.57, 7210.49.00.58, 7212.30.00.61, 7225.92.00.38, and 7226.99.00.71.
The Australian Anti-Dumping Commission was expected to submit its recommendations to the Minister for Industry, Energy and Emissions Reduction on or before January 24, 2023.
